In 1954 several Baptist unions in Europe joined together to form the EBM (European Baptist Mission), to embark on a common mission in Africa.

In 1979 MASA (Missionary Actions in South America) and EBM joined together. Today 18 European Baptist unions are members of EBM/MASA.

We are engaged in missionary activities in seven African and five South-American countries. The purpose of our common mission is to reach people with the Good News of Jesus Christ and to assist them in their spiritual and material needs.

This we do in close cooperation with indigenous (national) partner-unions in each country.

Our Mission Office is located in the Educational Center of the German Baptists at Elstal near Berlin:
